• The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Art Competition

  The children from Key Stage 1 and 2 have taken part in a painting competition this term to commemorate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee. The finalists from Mountfields Lodge have been entered into the countywide competition to be judged by The Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire.

• Wheel chair awareness

  Year 5 took part in a wheel chair awareness session run by GoKidsGo. They found out about some of the challenges wheelchair users face and how to support them. Lots of fun was had playing wheelchair basketball.
