The Central Access Point or CAP is a local mental health service providing a 24 hour help line for anyone experiencing mental health difficulties. Individuals can call for themselves or on behalf of someone else. After a few questions to establish need callers will either be referred to a clinician or other appropriate support. The service can also be used for advice if supporting someone you are concerned about.
