Children (and staff!) from Early Years up to Year 6 completed the first part of their Mini Marathon. The sun shone and the children showed brilliant determination to keep going even when they were tired and the going got tough.
Our Sports Ambassadors supported each of the year groups and were great motivators.
We were also very lucky to have Joel Fearon, a GB Olympian, to motivate the children and be part of the occasion. In assemblies Joel shared with the children in Key Stage 2 the importance of perseverance, courage, team work and leadership qualities.
Well done everyone involved!
